This system is a special edition of the PlayRobotics PRO timing system , it is designed to work with the SpoolHeads track(a modular 3D-printed track designed for 1:64 scale diecast cars).

There are many track variations offered by SpooHeads, this system was designed for the most popular setup: "SR 1:55 2-Lane track" at the start and "Open Track 100" at the finish.
This means the start gate of this timing system will connect to "SR 1:55 2-Lane track" and the finish line of this system will connect to "Open Track 100".

If your spoolhead track setup is different you will still be able to use this system by using adapters offered by SpoolHeads. 


Indoor / Outdoor usage

The finish line is equipped with infrared-sensor , the sun is generating infrared light and will confuse the sensor, so the system should only be used indoors.

What's included?

  • Start Gate
  • Electronics box
  • Finish line with sensor and display- will show 3 decimal points(2.345) if the race is shorter than 10 seconds
  • Remote control
  • 5 Feet USB power cable
  • 10 Feet Network cable (Connects the finish line and the start gate). If you have a long track you can just replace it with a longer network cable (regular networking / ethernet cable also known as RJ-45).
  • Extra ramp
    The extra ramp you can see in the photos has connectors on both sides, it can be used to connect SpoolHeads 1:55 track on both side.
    This ramp can be used if you want to race long tracks or multiple cars on each lane.

Remote Start

The race can be started by pressing a physical start button located in the electronics box or by using the included remote control.

Excel Integration

This timing system can be connected to a PC and log race results data in real-time to an excel spreadsheet. 

This kit doesn't include tracks and cars.
This system is ready to race - just add the track.
