This system is a special edition of the 4 lane timing system timing system , it is designed for racing with Pinewood Derby cars.
Pinewood Derby racing is usually done on big and heavy aluminum tracks , those tracks are usually too big to set up at home .
This unique timing system enables racing Pinewood Derby cars on regular HotWheels tracks, that are easy to source and setup.

The start gate was redesigned to fit the big Pinewood Derby cars, but the finish line is identical to the 4 lane timing system This means you can also use this system to race HotWheels cars and enjoy the best of both words.
Supported modes:
- Pinewood Derby Mode
In this mode you can race 1 or 2 Pinewood Derby cars (each car takes two orange tracks). -
HotWheels Mode
In this mode you can race 2 or 4 HotWheels cars.

Rank / Time Display
The system can display the rank of the cars #1/#2 or the race time of each car with 3 decimal points 1/1000 second accuracy.
The system is powered via USB (USB cable included).
What's included?
- Start Gate
- Finish line with sensors, displays and micro computer which acts as the "brain" of the system.
- 5 Feet USB power cable
- 10 Feet Network cable (Connects the finish line and the start gate). If you have a long track you can just replace it with a longer network cable (RJ-45 CAT7).
Remote Start
The race can be started by pressing a physical start button or a button on the included remote control that will allow you to start the race remotely.
The remote control will also allow you to change modes, adjust the brightness of the finish line time displays(useful for outdoor use) and more.
For indoor and outdoor use
Unlike the 2 lane system, which can be only used indoors , the sensors used in this system can also work outdoors (are not confused by direct sunlight).
Excel Integration
This timing system can be connected to a PC and log race results data in real-time to an excel spreadsheet.
This kit doesn't include tracks and cars.
This system is ready to race - just add the track.
