The system has several interesting features and modes:
- Race mode: 2 cars vs 4 cars
You can choose if you want to have a 4 car race or race with just two cars (at lane 2 & 3).
- Display mode: Time vs rank
You can choose if the finish lane displays will show the rankings of the cars or the time it took them to complete the race.
The blue LCD display at the start gate will always show the time.
The system can be powered via USB or 3 X AAA batteries.
What’s included?
- Start Gate
- Finish line with sensor, display and micro computer which acts as the “brain” of the system.
- 5 Feet USB power cable
- 10 Feet Network cable (Connects the finish line and the start gate). If you have a long track you can just replace it with a longer network cable (RJ-45).
Remote Start
The race can be started by pressing a physical start button. You can also choose to purchase an optional remote control that will allow you to start the race remotely.
This kit doesn’t include tracks and cars.
This system is ready to race, no programming or assembly required.
For indoor and outdoor use
Unlike the 2 lane system, which can be only used indoors , the sensors used in the 4 lane system can also work outdoors.
